Fuel problem
I have a Ford f 250 powerstroke 1997. When I am driving it cuts out goes to like 10 MPH and then speeds up again. They said it does not have a injector pump. but the problem could be the wireing harnees for the injectors. Where is that at?

RE: Fuel problem
The injector harness's plug into the valve cover gasket inboard towards the valley.. Their 'pass through' connections and have been known to fail at times.. If its idling poor, give the harness a 'wiggle' and see if it smooth out.. Could also be the stub harness/connection inside the covers as well.. Could be a fuel pressure/volume issue just to name a few possibilities.. Any CEL?

RE: Fuel problem
Does your CHECK ENGINE light come on when it cuts out? My '97 F-350 PSD (when I had it) would have the simliar problem, low speed cut out, no throttle response (until I got off the pedal), then the CE light turned back off, then I had power. Answer to this solution, your electronic accelator pedal is about to fail, it hasa throttle position sensor, but it is strictly sold as a complete assembly, unless you get it at a salvage yard.
