2008-2010 F350 Underhood Wiring Harness Connectors
Hi all,
New to this group, having bought my first Ford made in this millennium. I've got a question regarding some of the underhood connectors used for features that aren't on my truck.
Having added fog lights on my truck (harvested lights, harness, and switch from another F350, plus the dash-top light sensor for automatic headlights), I know that the connector near the driver's side headlight is where you plug in the fog light harness... But during a fluid check today, I noticed that there is another connector mounted on the radiator fan harness with a cover plug, plus another connector near the passenger's side headlight. What were these for?
I'm the one always looking for upgrades - factory, if possible - and using OEM switches to avoid unnecessary holes in my dash.
In addition, my vehicle having been an "Incomplete" vehicle, I don't believe I have a TPMS system (it was turned off when I looked in FORScan and I don't get a warning light during the system light check). Has anyone added this?
If you have done any "OEM upgrades" to your 2008-2010 Superduty, I'd be interested in hearing about it. The automatic headlights was nearly stupid-easy; the fog lights were nearly the same. I also turned on the DRL's using FORScan. I do still have access to the Superduty being parted out, so any suggestions on what I should grab would be appreciated - it has a different engine, so that's out... I'm considering pulling out the interior for a swap (mine is an XL, it is an XLT with power everything, though theirs is the Crewcab while mine is the basic Supercab).
