Ford F-250 & Ford F-350The heavier duty full sized trucks from Ford, offering bigger, more powerful engines and drivetrains for the abuse they may go through in the workplace.
My traction control doesn't seem to work. When I press the switch on dash, the instrument cluster says it is on or off. On my previous F150's the switch on dash illuminated OFF. My 350's does not light up at all. Any comments?
When you start the vehicle the traction control is automatically turned on, when you push the switch it turns off, when you push the switch again it turns on, when you push the switch a third time it turns back off, and so on and so forth.
I understand what you are saying. Owners manual says the switch is supposed to light up "OFF" when you turn it off. All I am looking for is someone that has a newer Super Duty (2017- 2021) to tell me what their SD does when it is turned off
I checked a 2020 F250 & F350 at work, both inform you if traction control is on or off using the instrument cluster LCD screen, the switch itself does not light up(or do anything else) at any time. You will also notice by the RPM needle a indicator light in the cluster comes on when traction control is turned off in addition to the LCD screen in forming you.
