Key on won't shift out of park, won't start, appears no electrical power to dash

Do the headlights work, if so, you might start by confirming all fuses are good.
If they don't work, start with battery cable connections.

Diesel, gas ?

Can you give any symptom pattern?, or was it ‘one day’ just no start. Was it jumped recently etc ?
The more info you can provide helps in a direction..
