Default 2020 F 250 with Snow Plow

I am looking at a NEW,,,,,,, 4WD,,,,,, Ford F250, sticker shows,,, SnowPlow Pkg, Electr. rear axle locking, 10000# GVWR. With those specs, and others, this truck should handle an 8 / 8.5 ft Western angle plow,,, or even a 8 ft 6 in Western Vplow , correct,,,,or are there more specs I need to look for on truck,, does the Snow pkg. bump up the front axle [FAGWR] to 5200, or 5600 on a SD model ?

what motor? as the motor might determine what sized plow it can handle due to added weight of a diesel over a gas motor? , if your worried about weight of plow, talk to your ford dealer and maybe step up to a f350, if it holds more upfront, as sticker price won't be that much of a difference and can save you maybe some issues! plowing is hard on a truck, so the m roe truck you have the better it will tend to hold up to plowing!

Depending on the type and weight of the plow system, you might need addl spring support. After a while the springs get tired and if the addl weight is too much , the front starts to sag.

adding springs to hold added weight might solve the handling/and sag from a heavy plow set up,
but if you go over the OEM spec's on weight, you can be voiding the warranty on the truck doing so!
so, depending on your views on a new truck and voiding a warranty? is a personal call!
axles and frond ends have weight spec's and going past them is?? some dobn't care soem do, just providing info!
