Default 429 repair sleeve for timing cover seal???

Has anyone out there rebuilt a 429 and found the spacer sleeve on the crankshaft in need of a repair sleeve because of a slight groove worn in it from the oil seal in the timing cover? If so where did you get the the repair kit and a part # if you have it? I just don't want to put this engine back together, Just to have an oil leak in the front. Thanks for any help!

You should be able to get a 'Speedi Sleeve' at NAPA, either by application, but most likely by spec/measurement of the spacer/shaft/seal diameter for a fit...

This site may be of help if you have a good caliper set for measurement for a specific sleeve selection for your need.. http://www.skfspeedisleeve.com/Docum...di%20sleeve%22
