Default 460 Rear Main Seal

Hey everyone. I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I hope to get some information and direction from those of you with some knowledge of rear main seals. I have a '95 F350. I am pretty sure the rear main seal is leaking-not too bad but it is leaving a few drops on the driveway and I can smell a little oil burning especially after I work it a little. Also the front of the flywheel shield is wet with oil-again not bad but it is there. It sounds like a pretty expensive repair and there is no way I would even attempt it myself.

I have seen some products advertized that are supposed to stop leaks, like Bar's Leaks, but am skeptical. Are these products worth trying? Or, do I just bite the bullet and get it repaired? Or, do I just live with it?

Thanks for your comments and your help. I appreciate them all because I am pretty "mechanically challenged!"
