Default 5.0 to 6.9 swap transmission help

i recently had a bad experience with my truck and a "puddle" and ruined the engine in my 1986 f-150 5.0 fuel injected 4x4. I have a 1986 f-350 2wd with a good running 6.9 diesel, i am planning on swaping the 5.0 for the diesel but have a few questions, will the diesel bolt up to the aod transmission already in the 150, and also will the gas fuell system (pump, tank, fuel lines, ect...) work with diesel or will i have to use the parts off the diesel.

and i know its an f-150 but i figured this thread would have more diesel enthusiasts

it would be easier to convert the 2wd diesel truck to 4x4 than to swap the diesel into the 5.0 truck.between computers, wiring harness, the entire fuel system, exhaust, heating and cooling systems it would be a HUGE project.personally i would buy a tranny adapter and swap the transfer case, crossmember, front diff and driveshaft into the 350.alot easier, quicker, and cheaper
