Default 6.2l

Hello all. I am new to this forum. Been a Ford owner since I started driving. What is the opinion on the 6.2L? Towing power? Fuel mileage with and without towing a trailer?
Any problems at all?

Thanks,
Jim

I have this motor in my 2018 F350. I tow a 28' Camper Trailer and it has plenty of power to tow that without issue. Gearing is more important with this engine vs. the Turbo Diesel. I find that the tow/haul mode helps or using Manual shifting when you need more pull power. Over all it gets the job done better than I thought it would. The motor has been around awhile and is a proven reliable motor. Unless your towing heavy loads through the mountains, you'll have no power issues.

Mileage is pretty horrible. 9 - 10 mpg towning. Max 14 mpg without towing on the freeway.
