Default Towing Capacity (Ford F-150, 2.7L ecoboost V6/3.55 axel ratio/145" WB)

I am looking for some help/guidance regarding towing experience with this 2018 Ford F-150 configuration. I have the trailer tow package and a weight distribution hitch. I want to make sure that I know the maximum towing capacity prior to purchasing a travel trailer. According to the 2018 Ford Towing Guide, this configuration's maximum tow capacity is 7700 lbs. On page 6 the Hitch Receiver Weight Capacity Chart is 5000 lbs. max. trailer capacity (500 lb tongue load) for both the rear step bumper and the hitch receiver. The weight distributing maximum trailer capacity is 13,200, based on the trailer towing selector chart (7700 lbs for my truck). I have received mixed responses from dealerships and Ford Motor Company. One response was that the GVWR should not exceed 70% of the 7700 lbs since the maximum tow capacity calculation did not account for towing trailers cross-country. The second person said that I should be fine pulling up to 7700 lbs. (Note: I may not have communicated consistently with the different points of contact so I tried to provide all of my information here). I am looking at a trailer (Dry weight: 5000 lbs, GVWR: 6700 lbs, hitch weight: 500 lbs) to pull cross country. I am very confused at this point, and I would appreciate any insight!
