Default 78 f250

Hi all,

we just got a 1978 f250. I used some carb cleaner and everything seemed fine. A couple days later went to drive it and it backfired and then lost power. Now that I got it home, it won’t start. It will try to turn over, and if it does it stays on for maybe 5 seconds at most. I replace PCV valve and everything else looks good. Any suggestions?

Remove one or two spark plugs and see if they are wet or dry..
If wet check for spark, if dry find out why no fuel..

There could be another cause , but first we need to know what we have and don't have.
