92' F250 Master Cylinder

Default 92' F250 Master Cylinder
I have a 92' F250 4X4 with the 7.5litre and the clutch master cylinder push rod broke. I bought a new master cylinder and the push rod is about two inches to short. I have checked everywhere to find the right part but they are all to short. Is the old part something that ford changed or do I need to buy a special master cylinder?
Can someone please HELP?
