Default '93 F250 7.3 diesel starting problems

I have a 93 f250 and whenever it sets for a couple hours and you go to start it again it will start up and start running but then it cuts out like its running out of fuel... i know its not the fuel pump or filter as they are both new ... any ideas???

Sounds like it could be sucking air into the fuel system. Easy way to check this is to install a clear line between fuel filter housing and injector return line. Hang the clear line in a loop to trap air and crank and/or start engine and watch the line to see if you get a large amaount of bubbles in the fuel.
