hi everyone. I am considering buying a '94 E350 diesel with 265,000 miles on it for $1700.00. I want it to use as a camper. I have no experience with diesels and was wondering if this was too many miles? I drove it and it is nice and strong. No leaks. I drove it on the highway as well as city streets.
Is there anything else I should look for before buying? I did notice that the oil was very dirty. Also are basic repairs doable by a laymen who has done maintenance and part changes on many other vehicles? Are parts and maintenance very expensive?
