I have a 97 F250 5.4 4x4 that starts drives no problem the all sudden it just stalls and does not turn over. I Wait 10-20 min or let it cool then it starts just fine idles good but I goto drive it does same thing help!! Oh replaced ignition switch , Alternator. Anyone ???

 

We need to determine if we are losing fuel or spark.

We don't replace anything until we determine it is not working.

Do you know how to check for spark? If so, do that when it will not start and either you have it or won't.

Based on what you find will determine where we go next.
