Default Advice needed

New here. Need some good advice. I want to purchase an older ford f250 for work around the house. Basically a farm truck. It will not be a daily driver, although we will drive other than for work and It will not be towing anything. I've found 2 options that I like.
1. 2004 f250 king ranch 6.0 diesel 159,000 miles.
2. 2008 f250 5.4 Triton Gas burner. 135,000 miles

I know the 6.0 diesel had some issues back then, but I will keep this truck serviced well and not abuse it. And I plan on keeping whatever I get for a very long time.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

This is only one guy's opinion,
The 6.0 had inherent problems that required a little more than good service, but since most farm equip uses diesel fuel you had a built in fuel station.
The 5.4 with those miles and no maintenance records is questionable and could come with some of it's own problems. Would suggest you continue getting info and the more you get the easier, we hope, a decision can be made.
