Air conditioner on all the time

Default Air conditioner on all the time
I have a 1999 Ford F 250 Super Duty. Lately, the air conditioner is on whenever the temperature setting is on the "cool" side of the dial, even though the Air Conditioner is NOT selected on the control dial. The only way I can get the air conditioner off is to turn the temperature setting to the "warm" side of the dial. Any thoughts?
