Default alternator issue

i have a 93 f250 351 and i replaced the alternator because it had a bad bearing. i brought it to auto zone and they tested it and it squeeked loud so i thought that was the solution to my problem a new alternator. i put the alternator in which was a 130amp which ford calls for a 95 but the one i took out was a 130 because my truck has strobes and a minutes mount plow.so i put in the new alternator and the battery light came on in my truck but the gauges said that the battery was at 14 volts. i dont no why the battery light came on. also replacing the alternator didnt stop the squeek. idk but when i go on the highway and right when i get off it the truck doesnt squeek. can anybody tell me why my battery light is on andwhy my truck is still squeeking. i replaced the alternator, compressor both idler and tensioner pulleys and nothing has worked yet. ive tryed all of your guys solutions and nothing fixed it. so please please help me thank you

I have a 1994 F250 with a 351W. Some time ago I too, had a squeek that was hard to detect. I traced it to a rubber CV boot around the drive shaft. I sprayed a little white grease around it and haven't had a problem since. You might also want to check your alternator. I know it is new, but I don't trust anything electric from Auto Zone. I have had to much of their stuff go bad on me. I have not read your previous posts, but you might also want to check the belt, (Is it sized properly?), Are your idler pulleys installed correctly? Also, does it squeek when idling or driving or both?

I would make shure the wires on the alternator are tight for the battery light.[hr]As for the sqeak you might want to get a can of wd-40 start the truck and spray in front of and behind each pully until the noise goes away then you will know where the squeak is coming from.

i will try the drive shaft thing and i did the wd 40 to the idler and tensioner pulley and the noise stopped so i replaced both and the noise came right back and then i did it to the alternator etc. but today i put some oil and r-134a in my compressor and the noise stopped for a couple of miles then came right back i have no clue what it is ive tryed everything meineke used a stethoscope and couldnt find any possilbe problems. i have replaced the belt 4 time with oem and after market and nothing has happened.
