Which beds fit?
I recently bought a 1990 F250 4x4 extended cab with the 7.5. Was curious of two things:
1. Is there a way to determine the gear ratio without cracking things open?
2. Would the 8ft box from an 85 bolt directly onto my 90? The bed is BEAT.

Welcome to the site..
Is the white VC label still in the driver door jamb? If so, what’s the Axle Code shown?
You can manually get the ratio (with a helper) by raising the rear tires off the ground,, noting/clocking the tires position as well as the pinion flange position.
Rotate the tire 360 degrees while counting rotations of the pinion. The pinion will rotate multiple times (3-4 etc in relation to the tire at 1 revolution ) and then a partial rotation . Noting the final revolution and where the pinion stops is the final reduction value. So as an example,, a 4:10 would be four pinion revolutions plus the .10
No on the bed direct fit..
