Black NAV screen and total loss of temp control
I have a 2015 F350SD Platinum SRW with 6.7L. I have a reoccurring problem with one of the control modules and cannot identify which module is causing the problem. When I drive from Chicago to Florida, as soon as I get through a heavy rain area or get into the hotter weather, the center panel on the truck goes dead. I have NO NAV function or map; I lose total control of the environmental controls; I lose all control for the radio functions. If I do a "media" type reset it will try to reboot through the "FORD" welcome screen but then I get the error code on the NAV screen - NETWORK COMMUNICATION ERROR. I am at a loss looking for some help from the people that know here on the Forum.
Thanks in Advance

I have an update to this ongoing problem. I'm positive that the previous owner traded this truck in because of this issue. I have started to troubleshoot to find the solution.
1. Some other Ford forums suggested to seal off the sun roof edges. There are tech notes for Ford that say that if the sun roof drains clog and water runs down the "A" pillar - it will put water into one of the modules and cause various issues like I am having or even "NO starting".
2. I have found that there is a common denominator of this shutdown happening at outside temp of 92 degrees.
3. If the outside temp is 92 degrees or higher and it shuts down - if I leave the windows OPEN and wait about 20 minutes - the center console will turn back ON and I will have full control of the environmental system when I go to restart the truck.
Still interested in seeing if anyone has ANY of these symptoms. I'm finding that Ford knows about this than they are letting on according to their Tech Notes - all the way back to the 2012 model.
