Default Brake Problems On My F-250

I have a 2000 F-250 Diesel and my yellow ABS light came on solid and I experienced my brake peddle go almost to the floor for a second and come back. So I changed my master cylinder based on past experiences in my old F-150. After R&Ring my master cylinder my yellow ABS light is still on solid and the red Brake! light is on as well. After bleeding the brakes I can step on the brake peddle and the engine RPM's goes down a little and I hear a straining noise and the peddle feels just a little different. I followed the book to test the power booster and I'm not so sure it worked according to the book to be fine.

With some help I can troubleshoot the system to point me in the right direction. Can anyone give me a hand on this one??

Thanks

Tim

Your truck should have a hydro booster and the reason the engine RPMs drop when you push the brake peddel is the load put on the p/s-booster pump. I suggest you get the ABS light checked or get a code from the ABS system first.
