All, I have a question about front brake rotors for my F-250. I have 195000 miles on the 2001 and am probably in need of replacing the rotors on the front. When I drive down the road there is nothing but a smooth ride. But, when I apply the breaks the truck shakes until it stops. I am guessing that the rotors may be warped? If I need to replace the rotors, do any of you have a recommendation on what brand should be utilized as a replacement? I will try to have them turned, but that may not be an option with the amount of miles on them. BASSHAWK

 

Let me ask another question or two. Is there a brand that I should shy away from? Are any of the major suppliers brands better than others. Autozone has Wagner for like $60/each. I think O'reilly had one for about the same price as well. Are most of the rotors made with about the same quality, or is there one that is truly better than the rest?BASSHAWK
