2014 f250 6.7 with the p007e code. Went to dealerships, changed he cac sensor without any luck. Dealer says its the ecm, ordered and after waiting for months of backorder got it in but that too did not fix my truck. Apparently ford engineering doesn’t like to help either. They had the mechanic check other things such as secondary cooling system. No luck, code still there. No the field engineer isn’t returning calls or planning a visit as promised to the dealership to look at it further. Is there anyone out here that can help. This is an all stock 6.7 motor. Really need and want the check engine light off so that my remote start would work again, oh and just in case something else would happen to go wrong.

 

Is your remote starter factory installed or aftermarket?
Ford vehicles DO NOT like aftermarket add ons. !
If it is aftermarket, disconnect it and see the problem goes away.

 

It has factory remote start. Probably should have already mentioned that is is a Platinum.
