Hey Guys Got a 07 a F 250 6.0 started having problem with the truck this winter battery went dead .. Batterys were checked at Wal Mart said were good said and I need an Altnator so I replaced it with a 140 amp.
Then I still was getting the bat. Light comming on so I said hell with it and replaced both Batterys.. A week goes by now the Battery lights comming on and off and now it on all the time and the battery needs chargging.
Could it be the starter ? Need help Im sure Ford would like to help me LOL
$$$$$ But I like to avoid them as much as I can.. Thanks Rick

 

Took off the Alt. and had it bench tested three times was good. Checked the bat. cables and cleand again. Ran a jumper from Alt. to passanger bat. no change.
Batterys are one month old.. Battery light still goes off and on.Checked the cables for burns breaks cracks nothing. How hard is it to ghange battery cables looks to be
running in to the lume.. Any help out there..

 

hey bud, im new on here and having the exact same problem, along with the air conditioning system randomly works when it wants now. Were you able to figure out the problem? Not real sure how often you are on here but its 13june11, if you get this anytime soon and can text me or reply , man i would be so happy and thankful. 20k in repairs in the last 2 years, I cant take it to ford anymore. It ended up being the Alt.. Changed it and the new one was bad.. My luck LOL 2 worked been good sence.. Good Luck One other thing WalMart has this gage you can plug in the lighter tell if your system is working good bat condition 12 bucks works good.
