hi i have a 93 f250 351 and the check engine light just popped on and switched right off. could this be because my catalytic converter is leaking or is their another problem i should worry about. the light went on for a few seconds and turned right off it has done this only today once.

I had a problem like that, I went to Autozone and had the code read, Three of them said something about EGR. About a 100 dollers later I took it to a shop and it was a vacume on the intake. My truck has no cats or smog and no check engine light. the computer codes tell you wear to look for a problem. It is a good idea after you have the codes to talk with someone that knows what to do with them.
