i am looking at getting a ford deisel. its an 2006 6.0L. i have heard different things about them and how they are in the shop all the time or they only work if you don't chip them. just wanna get some input about the engine!

 

STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!-LOL ,seriously evr since ford canned the 7.3L engine they have been going downhill fast with the 6.0L and really fast with the "new and improved" 6.4L scrap irons-i am a ford man all the way but they have been really screwing up alot since 03 :-(

 

I have an 06 f350 6.0 and i absolutely love it. My truck has plenty of power and its very strong and reliable unlike my 7.3l. The 6.0 has alot more ***** then my 7.3. I plowed the whole winter sometime 48 hrs straight with a fully loaded sander on the back of it which weighs about 4000ilbs and i havent had any probs.
