Deleting Preset Radio Stations
Just bought this beauty. 2018 F250 King Ranch. Problem is the previous owner's primary language must of been Spanish because all of the preset radio stations are Spanish and he has just over 30 preset stations. Nothing wrong with Spanish, just, I do not speak Spanish.
How do I delete all of the preset radio stations so I can add just the 6 or 7 that I want?
Yes, I can change the first group of his to mine but I don't want or need all of the other preset stations.
Please offer help.

As suggested, I removed the fuse and left it out for an hour, but that didn't do the trick.
I am able to re-program over the first 4 stations but I want all of the rest of the saved stations gone.
After contacting FORD, they suggested 3 processes, 2 or which were module resets, but none gave the desired result. All 28 stations are still available. Ford is bumping up to their SMEs.Please know, because this truck is new to me, any saved GPS or radio info are all for the previous owner so I can afford to loose them.
Can anyone help with suggestions of a working procedure to remove all these saved stations on my radio?

Just curious , did you check if the radio quit working while you had the fuse out? If it still worked , possibly wrong fuse.
Usually if we do a forced reset for a different reason by disconnecting the negative battery cable and erasing the keep alive memory, , we lose the programmed radio stations

Why not just program over the other presets with other stations you like. I believe they are saved in the module so they do not get erased when the battery/fuse is disconnected.
I have no idea what would happen but you could try a new module programming on the existing module, its possible that will clear its memory.

Yesterday, I disconnected both batteries (the negative posts) and kept them off for an hour and 20 minutes. I also attempted to turn on the radio and pressed the start button to put the truck in accessory mode. No battery, so, no life in the truck.
However, after the wait time, there were still the 26+ channels still programmed on the radio.
I did program the first 5 pre programmed channels with the stations I listen to but I see no sense in programming over the some 26 other stations with the 5 that I wanted. seems repetitively redundant over again and again...
I just got ForScan but not learned enough to use it yet. If ForScan can help, what specifically do I do to get the radio to forget the stations?
Is there another way?

Today, I had another phone call with Ford. They talked me through resetting the radio with no happy results. This F250SD has a recall on the emissions programming so I have an appointment with my local Ford dealership. Because of the appointment, Ford gave me a reference number to give them to see what they can do to reset the radio.
While talking the the Ford representative, she noticed my truck has a latency issue with the touch screen. She said there was a programming fix for this and I should have it fixed when I go to the appointment.
After the call, I tried an experiment. I removed the antenna hoping to NOT receive any stations & selected the option to refresh the radio stations. I now have 18 preset stations that are different from before but only 1 is desired. Some are still Spanish. Yes, the stations must be powerful enough to get to the radio without an antenna.
So, far, none of my issues with this SYNC radio have been fixed.
