I ve a 2000 F250 and it started giving me some problems lately, First i ve to plug it in at night even if its not going to be very cold. Secondly 2 days ago its starts okay but when i drive about a quater of a mile it starts spluring and wanting to die i ideal it on the side of the road and 2 min. later its ready to go. The whole process start again after it is turned off for a while, I replaced the fuel filter it was dirty the fuel pump is pumping good and no check engine light has come on,,, Please help

 

sounds to me like you've probably got a fuel pump going out or possibly a fuel pump sock plugging up, i'd taking a fuel pressure reading and going from there
