I have a 2006 f350 Lariet and the dome light is staying on all the time. The door ajar light is working normaly. Radio windows and every other option is working good.
The cargo and dome light used to shut off after a min or two, but now it wont go out at all and is killing my battery.

I've been trying to figure out this problem for a long time now. Can someone give me more ideas of what could fix this lighting problem?

 

Did you try pulling the fuse that powers the dome light?

Chances are it is just an electrical short..
