door lock code

Bought 2008 250SD in 2010 & it did not have the door unlock code in the manual package. My Manual said something about taking battery cables off and doing a reset?? Will that work??? or is there a simpler way??

You can try to google , Where does Ford place the door unlock codes".

Locate the receiver unit and the code is on it, or go to the dealer and have them pull it up for a fee.
