Default E4OD transmission

Hey guys, new here. I was replacing my solenoid pack in my 95 f350 e4od transmission and the gasket ripped out with the pack. My question is do I have to replace the whole gasket or can I go with the option of using some gasket paper I got that’s oil and gas rated and cut holes out according to the original gasket. I need my truck asap any news is helpful thanks.

I'd replace the VB gasket. If you do, make sure to use the inked/stamped gasket number. Piecing in a section, not sure it would work out as far as pressure leaks, cross bleeding etc. Could always try it, but it may depend on what/where it ripped.
