In an endeavor and I could use some advice
I have the chance to get ahold of a 2017 F-250 Xlt with the 6.7 and a buddy of mine that works at ford says go with the 6.2 since it'll be a daily driver but idk I could use all the help, tips, and guidance I can get.

Welcome to the site..
You Tow, haul, ever planning on it?
6.2-430lb-ft of torque
6.7-925
If a lighter carry/pulling application general use, the 6.2 would 'easy' fit the bill.
If your planning on heavy towing, 6.7 numbers support that.
Maintenance/repair costs is another thing to consider from gas to diesel... Although upfront costs are higher with the 6.7, resale may be higher demand since quite a few 250/350 are purchased or towing heavy..

Just bought one. Have had Dodges and GMC's since I was a kid. Thought, WTH, lets see what this Ford is all about.
My God, what a difference.
The diesel has so much power at all ranges and speeds it makes driving long distances almost therapeutic.
I find myself making up excuses to get in it and drive... and my job has me driving almost 50K miles a year so you'd think i'd get tired of it. But this new truck, its powerplant and creature comforts is something on a different level than I've been used to.
You won't be disappointed, especially if you've driven all the others.
