Default f250 4x4 engaging by itself.

Hello, I own a 2008 f250, The 4x4 started to engage on its own, I don't know why, I never use the 4x4. I cant take it out of my drive way without it kicking into 4x4. I had it towed to the shop, they changed the modules, they said that wasn't the issue. After 2 months they handed me my truck back and told me they cant find the problem. If anyone knows about this kind of issues PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU!

If it was in 4WD Low the engine would have to be at pretty high RPM to go over 10-15 MPH.
If it was going into 4WD High you would notice it jumping around while making sharp turns on dry pavement.
Doesn't your vehicle have a switch to select 4 Hj, 4 Low , etc. and indicate such on the dash panel?
