F250 repalcing quarter panel window
I have a '92 F250, extended cab. It was vandalized and I am having to replace the drivers side window and the quarter panel window. Trying to find what I need to replace the quarter panel window. Ordering the windows off of ebay unless someone has a better suggestion. Assuming the quarter panel window needs a gasket replaced at the same time, any suggestions on where I can find that gasket? I have done quite a lot of searching and calling and I am not getting any answers. Local Ford house told me to call a window place, NAPA told me the same. Appreciate any input, help or advice.

A lot depends on how close you are to a glass replacement place.
First, if the gasket(rubber molding) has not been damaged, you could install that piece without too much trouble. You could use some WD40 or other lubricant and work the gasket around the frame opening and the glass.
Now, if you do some checking and get some estimates, you just might find it may be cheaper in the long run to have a glass place do all the work and be done pretty quickly since they do that work all the time. If distance is not too much of a problem it would be probably cheaper yet if you brought the vehicle to them.
You have some choices here and time ,distance, and convenience will most likely determine which choice you choose.

Replacing the quarter window is fairly easy..
Once the window trim is removed, there are 6 retaining nuts on studs for the windows frame through the body to remove. Apply enough outward force to separate the sealers bond. The sealer is butyl, so it remains semi soft,
Most auto supply houses will have butyl in tape form, or caulking gun application. Might even have squeeze tubes as well.
Swapping a window out doesn’t require more that basic tools if your equipped..
