F250 super duty hub issues
Hello I would like to see if any one has had this issue and if this is normal or is there a fix. On this truck in are shop, came in with a noise, after looking over the front end noise, I found the right u-joint was bad, hob bearings bad, and vacuum issues to the hubs bad. Customer wanted hubs, axle u-joints replaced, new seals for the hubs had to be replaced and vacuum lines replaced. This truck is a 2019 f250. With a 6.2 gas’s engine. After repairs test drove the truck on tight turns at 10 miles per hour on dry pavement there is a clunking noise left or right turns. The hubs are in auto, if I remove the hub lock outs there is no clunk, I installed new lock outs and have the same noise turning, I have rechecked u-joints and there is no binding issues, replaced the transfer case due to metal shavings in the fluid and it was never serviced, like I stated if I remove the locking hubs the clunking noise is gone, is this a normal noise for this truck?
