I’m looking for some help from you guys:
I have a 2005 f250 that I just purchased and I’m trying to register it in Rhode Island. It has a Massachusetts title so I had to go get the VIN checked. They had any issue verifying a 2nd vin location today as the back passenger door has been replaced by the previous owner( it was clearly in a little accident on the drivers side) can anyone help me locate a 2nd vin location? Since they rejected my vin check today I have to go to Providence and have a more detailed check done the problem with this is they will only do them on Tuesday from 12:30pm-2:30pm and you can’t make a reservation first come first serve. That leaves me one Tuesday before my temp plate will expire.
Any help on location if another vin would be greatly appreciated. I’ve already checked numerous spots and can’t seem to locate anything.

 

Police depts know where to check for altered VIN info , you might ask there.
