Default F350 Brakes Upgrade

2006 F350: I need to upgrade my brakes when pulling my fifth wheel (Raptor 3 axle) it's tough to slow down on those 7 degree steep downhill rides. Usually front brakes heat up too much or get front end wobble when trying to stop quickly. What's a good upgrade?

You are probably better off functionally and financially if you go to an aftermarket trailer braking system similar to the optional one on the new trucks. I assume that your trailer has brakes and you currently have no way to activiate or use them?

Check your trailer brakes first. With three axles on the Raptor, you have sixbrakes. Two more than usual.
I tow a 3 axle Sunnybrook KSURV391 that goes over 14K loaded. At first it stopped better than my 9K two axle travel trailer, but after 2 or 3 trips the brake performance declined noticably. After pulling all the trailer wheels and adusting the brakes everything worked great again.
