front brakes on an 02 F350 SD
So, im looking at putting new front brakes on one of my work trucks, and im wondering what im getting into...do i have to take apart the front wheel assembly to remove the rotors?
sorry..i should have included all of that..
its 4wd, 4 wheel disc brakes, dually diesel...
it is my understanding that the 2wd does require you to take apart the bearing assembly, but the 4wd does not. i got a dealer quote of 600 dollars for front pads and rotors...i can get the parts for under 200.

so, i pulled the front wheels, and it definately is not a slide off rotor...the condition wasnt bad enough for me to need to tear into it. however, i was told by you, and a handful of other people (and the parts store) that it should be a simple slide off although it isnt..any ideas on what my issue is here? perhaps im dealing with some odd trimline?
