Default FARM FUEL

IS THE RED DYED FARM FUEL THE SAME AS REGUALAR DIESEL EXCEPT FOR THE DYE ADDED??

No...

Red diesel generally has a higher sulfur content than clear, as well as a lower cetane rating.. I'm no chemist, but I believe the process of removing the sulfur raises the cetane rating, but also drops the lubricity as well.. Running higher sulfur fuel can be a problem over time for the Cat... The fines for being caught burning red for 'on highway' use is very high and compounds for each offence...
