I have an 01 F350 with the factory fog lights. My problem is this, I recently changed my headlight switch to a 02 or newer switchto make it possible to run the fog lights without the headlights being on which was required with the01's.I thought just changing the switch would allow this to happen but that is not the case. Any one with advice to resolve this let me know.

does the 02 switch fit in the same spot without any mods to the dash? for the wiring you should check the continuity across the contacts of the old switch the new switch probably will require a jumper from the feed side to the fog light side i am an electrician so i don't know exactly without having the switches or a diagram in front of me
