Default Front dif ID help and rotor removal suggestions plz

Hi, I have a 1978 ford f250 4x4. The truck does not have an original VIN. Apparently that was removed and replaced with a new California VIN. No idea why.

In any event I do not see a diff tag anywhere either. I have been told this is a Dana 60 which agreeably sounds odd for an f250, but that is all i have to go on at the moment.

I have attached a few images of the hub which is some sort of two piece hub rather than the usual long tube the covers the entire spindle and axel. I have taken everything out but the rotor just wobbles there now and does not want to slide off. It almost feels like the inner bearing is stuck. I do not want to gorilla the thing out without first making sure it does not come off another way. Can you guys help?
Thanks
JSM

If you rotate the axle you might see a lock ring that needs to be removed and then go from there.

Yep did that. Nothing there. I am pretty sure it's the inner bearing race that's stuck. I just needed some confirmation before muscling it out and screwing something up worse.

I believe you don't have much choice.
Not sure if axle is held in by retainer or "C" clip in differential.
You might consider spraying lots of penetrating oil into the inner brg to see if that will help allow it to come off.

I'll try that. Was not sure if penetrating oil would get through the rest of the grease, but hell, I have a whole can of that stuff LOL.
