2016 F250 long bed extended cab. Does anyone know what these things are? This was a government truck out of Utah before I bought it.

Is there any kind of a horizontal rod inside of each one? Some older snow plow hook-ups had a rectangular cone like that to guide the fork of the actual plow into the truck, but there was a 3/4" or 1" horizontal rod at the rear of the cone, that the plow's fork would "clip" onto! ???

I believe they were the drive into ports for a "Western Brand Snowplow".

There may or may not be other attachments to operate the plow still left in the vehicle. Because they were a lot of work to install, they probably just left the pieces on the truck.

I think you are right. There are no other attachments, horizontal bar or such. They just have flanges attaching either side on the end of the frame. The bumper hardware attached to the top of the frame. It looks like it would be pretty easy to remove the bolts and ports. I don't think I will be attaching a snow plow anytime soon.
Thanks for your help!
