Front Tire Outside Wear
In the last 2,000 miles the front tires on my 2004 F 250 turbo diesel Super Duty have both worn significantly on the outside. I don't know where to start! No of road, no curb contact, tire pressure 65 psi.
Before the tires get too badly worn have the toe in checked. If the tread is showing a feathered edge the tow adj could be off or possibly a bent steering component..
Once the tires get worm on one side, even if the problem is corrected, the entire portion that contacts the road will wear with the rest and the tire will need replacement sooner.
Check the ball joints also.
