Default Fuel Consumption

65 MPH, cruise control set, tailgate down.

I'm happy.

Thumbs up

I bet,,

Best I've gotten with my 05 6.0 is about 17.

I used to work on a lot of commercial fleet, and one owner had quite a few 6.8's and 7.3's working over a large portion of the state, back'n forth. The 7.3 got twice the MPG of the 6.8. Good part was,, the 6.8's were for the most part low mileage trucks

They all have their +/-, but you cant beat a good run'n 7.3 !

I think the cruise control helps a bunch and the tail gate down (on my truck) adds about 1 MPG.
Best wishes,
Eric
