Wait to Start Light (WSL)

1999 F350, &.3 V8 Diesel, 6 speed manual, 2WD

Even after the truck is completely up to operating temperature the WSL illuminates if I shut it off and restart it it immediately.
Is this normal?

The WSL is independent of the glow plug system and it is normal.
