Default fuel starved f-250

hello everyone... this is my first post i am a new member. im having diffictulty with my 03 f-250 6.0 l diesel 4x4. the motor would die slowly like it was running out of fuel. so i figured it either wasnt getting fuel because of a restriction or the fuel pump wasnt working. i took the tank down blew out the lines and cleaned the tank and pickup thouroughly. i also changed the main fuel pump which is mounted on the frame rail. well i did all that and the problem still persist. if i let it sit for about an hour it will start and run fine for a few minutes then die of what sounds like fuel starvation again. someone told me it could possibly be the cam shaft sensors or the crankshaft sensors? is that possible and where are they located? or could it be something else? oh and both fuel filters are brand new.

Default RE: fuel starved f-250

My old neighbor has a 1999 F-250 and it did this. He took it and got it fixed. Then I just bought a 2003 250 and he told me the same problem that happened to his goes through the 2003 models but its covered under a ford recall. Its some sort of sensor. You might want to check the recall list for something like your experiencing. I know I will.
