Without a donor truck, it's almost always not cost affective. Plus, emission regs. nightmare on a late model conversion ;-/ We used to convert older late 70's 250/350 to Perkins and Detroits. Was a big job back then

@ Hanky its a 2008 ford 250 5.4L... i know the mpgs i get right now is a nightmare itself but i can live with it. hahahha
@Hayapower, yeah man you are right i might just drop the diesel dream and just get a diesel truck out of the box. a conversion might not be worth the dineros.. but i got a question here, its been happening since i got this truck last month, i cruise down the freeway @75mph but everytime i reach freeway speeds even at minimun speed, the steering column, the pedals, literally the whole cab vibrates i even took off the tailgate just to rule out the terbulance it causes out of the equation but still no improvement at all, did you guys experience this? because my chevy tahoe doesn't vibrate at all and its a battered and abused truck, than my f250 which is treated like a king.

Here in India it costs around 2,00,000 Indian rupees for a conversion and it always comes with complications down the line and can be bad headache once it does

I checked out the deathwoble problem on youtube last night. But mine is kinda milder than what i saw there. And mostly the trucks shown were 4x4 mine is just rwd. But i cant be so sure. Maybe the woble is not too harsh because its just starting out. Its really disturbing. But my truck shows the same symptoms. It cant be a mis alignment on the wheels its too harsh for that. Someone please help me im going crazy here! Ford says theres nothing wrong with my truck!
