Default Glow Plug 50% not working

1999 F 350, 7.3 V-8

The driver's side glow plugs all check out at 1.0 Ohms via testing at the connector outside the valve cover.

The right side all show 6.0 Ohms.
It seems strange that only one side and all on one side would go out and have the same resistance reading.

Am I missing something?
I am about to swap out the GPs if I need to.

You will find that it is best to replace all 8 glow plugs, since they've been in there since 1998. You can confirm their condition after removal if you choose, but by that time they are already out. Unequal readings distort the timer and can cause it to shut off before good temp is reached. You can also check all the wiring at that time .

Hanky,
Thank you. Just to confirm there is only ONE glow plug relay, is that correct?

Yes, that is correct and it is located on the intake manifold top, rear. You can't miss it with the heavy wiring going to it.
