Goose Hitch Problem
Hi everyone.
I hope this is the right forum for this question.
I recently purchased a new to me 2019 Ford F-350 dually. I did so in order to pull a 5th wheel I also recently purchased.
The truck only had a goose hitch (B&W), so I purchased the B&W RVK3500. I assembled and installed the hitch w/out incident. (I still haven't picked up my 5th wheel yet). Today I needed my truck bed so I went to remove the hitch. I can't release it. I loosened the draw down, and the hitch wiggles nicely, but I just can't pull the lever to slide the pin out. I crawled underneath, and it appears the pin is bent upward. I'm thinking it wasn't seated all the way before I torqued the drawdown. I'm scheduled to pick my 5th wheel up saturday, but obviously I need to figure this out first.
Any thoughts how I can pull the pin back down with the block from the RVK3500 still in the hole?
Thank you
