Default Headlights not working

I have a 1990 F-350 4x4, It has been sitting for 5 yrs. I just got it running again and the headlights wont come on. all the other lights are working fine, just the headlights aren't. I checked fuses and the bulbs are fine. where else should I check? is the a relay or is it possible its just the switch?? any help would be nice

Thx

Will

Sounds like a bad headlight switch.

Some of the older headlight switches had a circuit breaker inside the switch assy that was for just the headlights. You could try to give the switch a couple of raps with your hand and if that doesn't get it working you may need to replace the headlight switch as go-part suggested.
